FM selector with GOG ver of T2

well.. had to get a new copy of Thief 2... so I bought one off of Good Old Games(dot)com...
the main campaign runs fine.. but I cant find anything for the FM selector that should be there (since it says its the NewDark version)
little help here?

there are a couple of topics where the FMSelect activation is described, but I'm too tired to search, so let me just (https://www.systemshock.org/index.php?topic=6292.0) link the guide for SS2, which works all the same.
