Hi guys.
:D
I'm not planning to do any more DromED work; I might do something for the DarkMod when it's published.
Right now I'm far too busy with writing a 3D gravity-simulator called (
http://www.rclsoftware.org.uk/gravel/) Gravel v3.

Done - but I can't change what is shown in the thread-list.

Sorry to dredge up such an old thread, but I've been going back and playing a bunch of older FMs I somehow missed before. So far I've enjoyed S.o.S.Y. very much, but now towards the end I'm stuck.
I've managed to make my way into the old library and know the skull is behind the tapestry on the library's bottom level, but can't for the life of me figure out how to open the darn thing! If the statue down there is the 'melting' statue and it's necessary to activate it somehow in order to get the skull, then I'm sunk, because I don't have a fire arrow and the one flare I have doesn't seem to work as was hinted previously in this thread. Help, please?
Thanks!

Dia Climb down the ladder to the lower level. Move the boxes against the wall and look in the small hole behind them for a lever. :)

I must be seriously inattentive today! :o Thanks yet again, Nightwalker! :cheeky:

I just replayed this today and must say that it still holds up. I even found out that the secret door in the old library can be opened without using the switch behind the boxes. I hit it with my sword and it made the creeking sound and opened. The worst part for me was getting on the roof to get to the old library. I stacked the 3 boxes from the basement to get up and only realized that I could have rope arrowed up after coming here to post..lol :thumb:

If you didn't hear the news already, *Zaccheus* passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer.
I know it may sound like a small thing, but I have a feeling to play this FM of his again today in remembrance. He was always positive and enthusiastic about what he was doing, and he was one of us. The main little connection I had to him was his little part in the Chain Project, but it was a cool little area.
He had been visiting both here and the Dark Mod forums before he got sick, even after IIRC, and as he mentions above, I believe he would have made another or more FMs if he had had the time... But we still have the two solid FMs he did make in his time, so we can be thankful about that.
RIP, Z. :(

A good thought - I think I'll join you.
A little thing, but I just noticed his dates have been added below his username. I wonder where else on the internet you'd find something so thoughtful had been done.
If anyone should wish to read his thread the link is (

Thanks for passing on the sad news here. As a mainly FM Forum taffer I might otherwise have missed this.
Sounds quite fitting to play this one through again and I hope to enjoy it in the way *Zaccheus* intended we might.
