If you care enough about FM's to go on a 'rant' (I didn't think you were ranting all that much, MD), then there's nothing to be remorseful about. It's that kind of caring that's kept Thief alive. ;)

Hello! I still can't find Salvador's dices? anyone can tell me where they are?
MotleyCat on 25/3/2006 at 15:07
Now I found a key for Salvador's private room, and also found a safe box at the top of that tall bathroom tower. Now is this the safe where the dices are? And where is the key for this safe? Quite difficult

I can tell you for a dollar.
...
I will look into this right now, out of respect that you have struggled with the same goal for at least a MONTH.
Although, I admit I have never nabbed the dice, either; so I can really promise anything.
(knee-jerk) You could also try PM'ing Nightwalker.
UPDATE: Ok, I found it. Cross the main lobby, then go past the dinning rooms and into the kitchen. Then enter Gino Encarta's room. Salvador's key is next to the couch.
I pointed to the appropriate location with an arrow, in case the key is too obscure.

Thank you:) for the screenshot and your help also!! You know, sometimes I pause playing a mission for weeks, then I continue. As my mood is. :)

Yes, yes, I realise this thread has been asleep for quite some time, but I need some help and the other thread hasn't been enough!
I played CotF a long time ago, got to a certain point that was far enough, and never finished because of the condition of the original mission (the level was practically falling apart and everything was bleeding a foggy gold). So I deleated it. And I never got the Tunnel dust, because I could never find the key.
And the key...
is supposed to be in the room with the corpse on the slab, on the shelf with the lab materials on it, and notoriously difficult to find. Therefore, I cleared the shelf of whatever was on it, checked the right side of it, and no luck. This thing is invisible! Has it changed location?
I'm playing the 2nd edition, and the foggy gold that was everywhere in the level previously is gone. It looks good, and I really want to play to the end (and find what I'm looking for). So has anything changed between the two versions? :erm:
