And it works beautifully :) (at least the first two, I'm just working through the campaign to verify the third fix).
A side thought: Part 2 would vastly benefit from just a bit on environmental light (the first - separate - version of the mission wasn't nearly as pitch black) - couldn't this be corrected as well?
In the meantime I also encountered a "broken" T2 mission: "Bane II - Cult of the Damned". At some point (savegame uploaded (

the bottom of this coffin should open by frobbing another sarcophagus just around the corner - one step back and right - but with ND it does not, which means game over here. You must have unlimited energy and motivation, which we all admire and appreciate - and abuse... but please keep up as long as possible (or a bit longer:D).

Calendra's CisternWhen you come across Calendra, Dillon hands her a goblet, when he leaves the room Calendra places the goblet on the table thus you can frob 2 purple goblets in olddark, but with Newdark the goblet Calendra's holding disappears meaning you can only get 1 goblet from that table
Edit: This seems to be a general bug....sometimes the goblet disappears , sometimes it doesn't :wot:
detailed information (what is supposed to be happening, what is not happening, why is it a problem etc) and an oldDark save would be very helpful.
same goes for this one:

The fight between Calendra and Brimstone never took place once I entered the Treasury.I actually lure Brimstone to Calendra to make them fight each other so I can rob the treasury without being bothered.

Calendra's Cistern....after the cutscene between Calendra and Dillon, Calendra places her goblet on the table, but with Newdark sometimes this goblet disappears....Newdark issue or did this bug occur also in olddark ?

i don't have an old dark save....ill try to get you one by the end of the day
at the start of the cutscene dillion takes a goblet off the table and hands it to calendra, at the end of the cutscene calendra places the goblet back on the table, but sometimes, 1/10 maybe the goblet disappears into thin air as she puts it down
Edit: here an olddark save from when i played it on normal (newdark save is on expert) will this be ok for you ?

ok, did not manage to replicate the goblet problem, but did find something that might be the cause, if I'm right, then it should be fixed (if I'm not, then it won't make things worse). also made the small candles snuffable (it was possible to dml tweak the orig setup in most cases).
needs to be launched in the TFix environment, as it now needs NVscript. use FMselect, no idea whether Darkloader works.
//also a quick fix for Information - had to change the rotation axis, and while that is not making things prettier, it does make them work.
//trial by night also fixed, and all the FM fixes moved to one shared gdrive folder:

Frankly, fixing up FMs so that they work properly should be a no brainer. You aren't changing up the FM with the intention of using it as a base for your own FM, you're just utilizing minor fixes to make the FM work. Heavy insistence on intellectual property rights don't help anyone except maybe the author in some cases, and they are a major reason why so many creative products from the past aren't legally available today. So I think people should stop insisting on preserving the missions as is.
Technically fixing up FMs may not be illegal either, as a court would have to decide on that.

@ Dev_Anj: I moved your post to this thread, as voodoo47 asked that we keep the discussion here.
@ voodoo47: I locked the other thread per your request. I'll talk to the other mods about how we want to deal with it.

would be nice to have it stickied as well.
as mentioned, shouldn't really matter either way - using a dml is as safe as it gets. it's like telling someone that if he uses his pc hardware to connect to the place that is named after the thing a spider creates to catch prey, and uses a search engine named after a very large number to find a bay where now extinct bandits of the sea dwell, he can obtain all software free of charge.
you can't build a case on something like that.
