yes, saves are always required, as replicating the conditions takes too much time.

when i first posted i thought it was the final objective (Talismans) not working correctly only later realised that it may have a connection to the Sword
but have just checked.....i have a save from the ONLY sword i could find when playing on expert and as this is one of the randomized locations i'd like to think this has to be the Objective Sword....if you can't find a problem with this sword it means the Black Sword must be somewhere else so ill have to replay the whole mission on expert again, looking for the Black Sword even in locations not mentioned by the author

Amida....I tried a few days ago in OldDark...went straight for the key and jumped down and YES I do open that door in OldDark......with NewDark it unlocks and then immediately re locks itself
ok, I'll need an oldDark save right before you open the doors, and right after you open them.

please, please, please don't make me play Amida again in olddark....
the controls are so sloppy its a nightmare even killing one of the bugbeasts less alone 3 of the sods
i think about it when im really really really bored :D

well, I can just blindly fix the key and hope it will work for you. the fix is now in the repository.
pretty sure the bugbeast objective would be fixable, but unfortunately, I have no idea how should a working setup should look like, so unless someone else steps in and either explains, or points to a working example, this one will remain unfixed. the text being in japanese is not helping either - how do you even know that there is such an objective, and that it cannot be completed? do you have an english version?

i got the translation from this thread (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90982&p=1155681&viewfull=1#post1155681) and if you check the Goal_Targets 2/3/4 in DromED they bring up the 3 different bugbeasts....i know that's not 100% proof but it does seem to add up
i had a thought..........i know it is listed as a TG mission, but if my history is correct the JIS missions were 'discovered' on a Japanese website, Amida is listed as march or july 2001, but could it be that it was actually made earlier and made for T1 which could mean the bugbeast objective not checking off in either olddark or newdark has something to do with the T1 mission/TG engine conflict that causes some objectives not to check off in some other T1 missions such as 'The Information' by Carl Ireland
if that was the case would a dml fix be even possible ?
the only saves i have are what are already posted in this thread

the Amida objectives should now be fixed.
and yes, it's a T1 mission.

AMIDA
confirmed, all objectives check off correctly and the final door opens with the key.....mission accomplished :thumb:
well done and thank you Voodoo
(ps will get around to checked Oblivion shortly)

2 more possible dml fix's.......But These are NOT Newdark issues, they are T1/Tg engine objective conflicts issues
seeing you managed to fix AMIDA whose 3 bugbeast objectives may not have worked due to a T1 mission / Tg Engine conflict, is there any chance you can look at the other 2 T1 missions that are known to suffer for the same fate and see if a dml fix is possible
The Gem....the objective 'find & get into the Worthington manor' fails to check of....gnartsch reported that install in Standard Thief Scripts resolves the issue....but it does not, i have a convict.osm in my Thief Gold folder.

Information With this mission there are 2 objectives in the infrface folder that do not show up when triggered namely
fiction_2: "Roban has gone to Lord Durban's town mansion. Follow him."
&
fiction_4: "Roban has fled to Castle Ventner with the Evening Stone. Get to the Docks and follow him."
by not triggering the last objective (fiction_4) means you can not finish the mission when you do get to the docks
the first one fiction 2, i believe from from a post i read somewhere is meant to be triggered in the Hammer compound, but as it does not show up in the goal_target of DromED i can not be entirely sure where you are meant to trigger this objective, but it would seem to make sense that it would be triggered when you enter the secret room in the library

the second objective fiction 4, is again not showing up in Goal_target in DromED, but Roban is the man who runs out of the centre room when you walk into the wine cellar to the left of the centre room

Another one:
Business at MidnightThere is no way to complete this mission because the first objective ("retrieve Rupert") does not check no matter where you put the body to rest.
In this (
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4LhJTQiEm7QZTZvVE5QZHUzb2s/view?usp=sharing) zip I uploaded two saves:
(1) Rupert's body placed in the electric room (following the suggestion of a readable)
(2) Rupert's body hauled all the way to the exit gate and dropped there. Neither works.
It's not a NewDark issue because it's been reported in OldDark as well, but I wonder if it could still be fixed (just like the Embassy objectives in the first episode of Shadow of Doubt) – ?
