@voodoo - this is not just a fix to make it work in NewDark but a real glory, because it did not work in OldDark in the first place. Fixing the shrine ladder was also an important step towards a major overhaul. Perhaps Antimatter_16 is already listening...:D

the dmls definitely work, just checked (again). that save has no dmls loaded, that means you have probably installed them incorrectly (they should be in the SOD folder, not in the FMs folder), or did something else that prevented them from being loaded (playing via the editor exe maybe).

ok worked out what's going on....I extracted the 7z file directly into my games/FMsel/fm/Sod folder, but when i just checked all the .dml file are the same date as the original .dml files that are in the main Sod folder....worked it out the dml file are in a folder within the 7z file and that folder was quite happily sitting in my FMsel/fm/Sod folder.....do absolutely nothing
guess you need to extract manually and then paste the contents of that file into the FMsel/fm/Sod

yes, the dmls need to be directly in the SOD folder (meaning, in the same folder as the mis file they are supposed to fix), any extra folders will obviously prevent them from being loaded.

Voodoo, could you confirm that the dml that fixed the hyper sensitive guard in SoD part 2 (Tears of Blood) is the miss30.mis file, as i would like to mention which specific dml it is that fixes this guard in the walkthroughs for the 2 missions Escape from Guilesatpeak and the stand alone Tears of Blood

yes. btw, you can open dmls in any text editor and check for yourself, I did comment the fixes so anyone can see what does what.

Hellerhouse....(TG)
Not sure why, but this mission does not seem to want to play via FMsel, loads fine with Darkloader, but with FMsel, I get the difficulty setting screen saying Hellerhouse, but the with next Objective screen Lord Bafford's Manor loads instead :nono:

Runs fine here.
Check if the file "MISSFLAG.STR" is in the "FMs\hellerhouse\strings\" folder.
