1. One objective read '
Find and free Romeo and then take him to Lord Ceaner', however this objective checks off when you first pick up Romeo (and unchecks when you put him down) but seeing when you first pick up Romeo you are miles from Lord Ceaner's house in reality the Objective has been either badly written or been set up incorrectly, ie it should
not check off when you first pick up Romeo
and should only check off when you take Romeo into Lord Ceaner's house. (

2. Secondly Lord Ceaner's house is weird, just the very act of entering Lord Ceaner's house causes the objective '
When all is done, bring the evidence to Lord Ceaner'. Firstly there is no evidence to be found within the mission, so players get confused as to what the author means by 'evidence', most people end up assuming it means Romeo, but more bizarrely this final objective checks off whenever you enter Lord Ceaner's house, and unchecks when you leave the house. This means you can even go straight to Lord Ceaners' house from the start of the mission, enter his house and that final objective checks off, even though you have not yet completed any other objectives. :laff:

Lord Binclair can't be fixed with a dml. But it's easy in the mis file/DromEd.

if you know what needs to be fixed exactly, do tell, and then I'll be able to see whether it's doable via dml - I've been doing this for a while, and there are very few things that can't be fixed when you combine dmls with NVscript.
goal irrereversibility is easy for example, you just need a junk object that will set it, and a way to fire it.

The reason for getting stuck is not the wire or other objects. it's set to no collision.
I loaded the savegame in DromEd--no problem to go through the duct. I noticed that the player box is a bit stuck in the solid.
I loaded the savegame in Thief 2 - big problem
I went down the rope again and climbed back--no problem this time.
So get back to the rope and try it again. You're stuck in the surface in this savegame.

Ah, makes sense. I kept mantling up to the duct from the rope, but now I crawled to the top, jumped off the other end, then let myself fall to the duct with the wire, and there was no problem.
