I downloaded Claire's Harbour but FMSel refuses to show it. I fell back on DarkLoader and checked. It's there. DL installs it and then FMSel opens and shows nothing.
Any solutions?

ohh i know, its a double folder,so to fix take out one folder from the main one then drop in :)
once you do that you can delete the main folder it came in as the content folder with all files would be removed
i think how the main folder was labeled caused the problem
also a big fan of idaho potatoes russets

I do not see an issue such as nested folders for that mission.
So,
Quote:
FMSel shows nothing
means that FMSel shows nothing at all?
Do you have some filter applied in the FMSel UI?
Maybe specifying a wrong name for the mission or clicked on any of the buttons at the top that filter by status?

both autoloading the zip file and manually extracting into a proper folder works fine for me. maybe the FMsel shortcut is pointing to a different T2 install?

Sorry for not specifying: all missions are showing up in FMSel except the one mentioned in the OP.
Solution: Rename ClairesHarbour_1.2.zip to ClairesHarbour_12.zip
Only thing is, how come no one else has this issue? Oh, well.

This happened to me. For some reasons FMSel wouldn't show a mission that has been updated (the old version was still in the folder)
I even tried to rename it, no avail
Solutions:
-Delete the old version
-Write a FM.ini for this (updated) FM

I just downloaded v1.2 as "ClairesHarbour_1.2.zip".
My FMSel finds it just fine but lists it as "ClairesHarbour_1_2".
I'm still running NewDark v1.23 though.

something strange is going on your machine, as ClairesHarbour_1.2 works fine for me as well. maybe you are hitting some path length limit?

Very odd indeed, since not even the presence of any original version ever bothered my FMSel at all.
Not in ND v1.25 nor ever before. It shows both versions just fine.
Maybe your AntiVirus still checking the new file (and not allowing real acces to the file just yet) that you downloaded directly into the FM folder?
Even then, restarting FMSel would have sorted that issue out without complains.
puzzling...

Just ran a search. There are a bunch of FMs with more than one period (.) in them, which show up fine. For example, Mr.Turmoil V 1.2.zip, which has 2 dots and 2 spaces. FMSel displays it as Mr_Turmoil_V_1_2.
