If you wait for the DirectX 11 Nvidias to come out soon, the ATI's will become even cheaper.

I express uninstall everything, then restart, use driver cleaner pro, manually clean registry, devices and directories, restart and install. I used XP compatibility, but no go. I'm sure its not such an issue.

Thought I should bring back this thread to further celebrate SiO2's fix for fog, (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?&p=1949610) here. It's not perfect yet (if you have the fix enabled and play a mission without fog, you get a black screen) but this is huge progress.
