Yeah, it's life of the party.

Um, those screenshots look just like my game does. It doesn't look "fixed" at all. Unless Winter Cat was just showing the BEFORE images.
edit: wait, I see. That's what LGS intended it to look like (or was it?) But, personally, I find that it makes it seem almost like daytime with fogging on. :/ I'd prefer less fogging.

Yep! The official fog in LotP does indeed make it look like daytime, which Emil acknowledged and apologized for, so yes, it looks that way, unfortunately.

I still think it can be made not to look that way just by twiddling the sky settings. Can someone send me Wille's fixed file? The original link in the thread voodoo47 referenced is dead.

Ah, didn't know that jtr7. Thanks for letting me know. All this time I had thought it was a graphics card issue:laff::eww: I guess I'll have to go in and edit the mission myself.:sly:
(I looked at thief 2 demo, and the fog looks better in there.)

OK, fog works great, looks wonderful, as long as I don't go to the menu or look at a readable... then I have to restart the game. I found a suggestion to set antialiasing to either 0x or 8x to fix this.
I've tried both "Application Controlled" and "8x" antialiasing, no difference on either. Any other thoughts from anyone?

Wow, I just realized I have the same problem... I never tried going to a menu or reading before making the original post. Hopefully we'll find a solution that will work for both of us... I'm playing around with settings in CCC now.

just an fyi of sorts...
Fog works on the new HD5870, might have to find a better game profile manager though, as the catalyst profile manager is shite compared to nVidia's
