The fog isn't fixed in Catalyst 9.10 on my HD4550. Must be either a setting I'm missing or a card-specific thing. :erg:Still only fog until I look at a readable. Oh well.
What version of windows are you running..? and before you installed 9.10, did you do a cleanout of the out driver after installing it using nasty file remover..

I'm using Win 7 x64 (RC), I tried Nasty File Remover but it doesn't seem to work right on 64-bit systems (as far as I could tell?) So I went in and manually cleaned out some ati**** files in safe mode, so it should be nearly the same thing.

This all brings up a question I've had: What is the best setup for thief 2 without even trying to waste money? I mean, considering it's age, I'm certain that the high-end cards it worked best with back in the early 2000s are much cheaper to get off Ebay than they ever were.
But maybe I'm just guessing... I dunno. A under $50 setup, anyone?

Same here and it worked fine for me, just select compatibility mode on the exe...

What do you have it set to - XP SP2? It doesn't seem to work for me. I always do a clean VGA reinstall, but it doesn't help.

I assum you mean Nasty File remover..?, it should just work under Xp, but make sure you know how to use it correctly..

That'd be an OK price if I were British, though maybe something else will suffice?

you should be able to get the card s/h for about the same in $$ I would have thought..

Unless 65 euros translates to over 2 Benjamin franklins ($200), then I must say your gravely mistaken.
