Oh good, I liked the first one, should be interesting to see what happens. Hope they don't ruin it.

I don't know why American McGee still gets gigs like this one - he was involved in one semi-successful game and after that it was all crap, at least from what I've heard.

I own Alice, Scrapland, and Bad Day LA. The first was really good (I'd say 8/10). Scrapland was interesting, but overall a tad bland (6.5/10). And *ugh* Bad Day LA. I was very interested in it, as it had a great sense of style and humor. I bought it very soon after release. It is HORRIBLE. I'd say 4/10.
Now, I have GameTap (paid), and have played a few of the Grimm games. Meh. Yet AGAIN, a great idea that just falls flat. It was an inprovement over the last game, though. I don't see this new one being anything spectacular. I would not worry about keeping up on it. Just wait and see after it ships.

Shudder... Looks appropriately creepy, and I liked the claymation look of Alice - reminds me of Jan Svankmajers surreal Alice in Wonderland.
The original Alice was one of those games where the inventive, consistent style kept me going even the gameplay was average.

I can't say that I like the looks of Mcgee's Grimm games but the Return of Alice is going to be awesome.

the grimm games while looking crap were sadistacly addictive, I only played 7 of them until gametap found out I wasn't from us or canada and blocked me. You basically play a person whos there to ruin the world and turn things into nasty versions of themselves, while getting bonuses for extra evil nastiness.:cheeky:
