Strictly T2 moments, fight scene of the archers on Life of the Party. Awesome.
The interesting thing about that is it isn't entirely scripted--the guards who go down is different almost every time.

Well of course the combat isn't scripted, it just makes them enemies at the end and lets the engine take over. I had some neat ideas for changes to that episode as part of my plans for Spoof: The Daft Project, but it will never see the light of day now.

the frogbeast eggs were pretty cool. there was never actually a time when their use was neccessary, but still its always fun watching small frogs kill an armour clad hammer-wielding brute :D
the first time i saw a slave in a mask was pretty haunting too. even though some claim t1 to not be as terrifiying or eerie, i thought t2 was in terms of tone and atmosphere on a par with t1. the minimalist approach to the undead, ethereal and fantasy allowed the player to not get disinhibited a la tree beasts. some still have yet to see or notice them making it much, much worse.

karras's voice.
lol.
my peers all looked at me with much confusion when always speaking like him. i never dared tell them it was a character in thief for fear of their mocking

the undead and mythical beasts/areas are not my favourite parts in the thief series. it is much more entertaining breaking into mansions, scaling walls, moving across rooftops and blackjacking blue coats whilst stealing various expensive antiquities. collecting powerful ancient artifacts, breaking curses and killing beasts just doesnt seem a thief-like objective. to create an enthralling narrative they added the myth and magic. but for me personally any level in t2 where im skulking through the deep shadow of a large building gives me goosebumps. everytime.

Well, going from playing games like Half-Life and its ilk, where every damn thing is scripted, I thought it was pretty cool.

Priceless!. When I heard it the first time,I roared laughing.:laff:
The dialogue between them,Is a laugh on it's own. The best!.
Karras's voice too. Amazing it was Stephen Russell did that voice as well.
He of course is awesome and so talented.

I loved T2 . . . with how long it took to make it through each mission, and how much there was to explore, my first time I played through T2 the shortest mission time I had was with Running Interference, and still I clocked almost an hour and a half checking everything out.
Shipping & Receiving kicked ass, checking out all those different storage units, running up and over the crates and bugging the guards . . . good times!
Masks and Casing the Joint, so many ingenious places to hide
I also really liked Eavesdropping, too

That is the very least reason for it. The true nature of the myth and magic is a well kept secret, but I assure you it's not what you said.
