Meh, it's up to you, i'm not going to be able to devote a lot of time to it, what with the ailing retex project and the game cases. I'll still put forth what I can.

Lol I just found this thread I started some 14 years ago. The initial question still remains: When will the production of fan missions end? In my opinion, there is no end in sight. :thumb:
(Oh and could someone move this thread over to the Thief Fan Missions section? Thx)

The numbers will slowly dwindle, probably almost completely drying up in about 2 to 4 years. If we get an editor for Thief 3, that figure will accelerate down to 1 to 2 years I think.
I'm really glad this one didn't age well.
Much unspeakable thanks to our authors and, fwiw, I believe that the dawn of ND largely extended our lease; most everything else we had/did in 1998-2000 is gone (including LGS and my then owned P3 500mhz Dell "portable desktop")

I played the original two Thief games shortly after they came out. I then played them again 1 or 2 times each over the years. Although I had been to this forum several times in the past (mainly to look up hints for the originals), I never really considered any FMs until I came upon GodBreaker in early 2017. Playing that FM opened my eyes to the possibilities of what the user created content had to offer. I've been playing them ever since.
When I saw the number of missions available, it was like looking at the rings of a felled tree. I literally had 16+ years of missions to choose from.
This is definitely the most loyal and helpful gaming community that I've come across. I hope it continues for many years.

I started playing FMs in 2013. And last year I re-bought Thief Gold and started playing its FMs. I haven't played a majority of "must plays" or highly recommended missions. Ominous Bequest, Ruins of Originia, Drymian Codex, King Story, Broken Triad, Black Frog etc. are just some of them that await me. And as I frequently take a break between them, even in months, I have a feeling I will never able to play ALL FMs in my life time. Which is not bad, that would mean FM community-one of the biggest gaming time capsules- will not cease to exist.
I have just started playing Calendra's Cistern, one of the "older" FMs.
And.
Wow.

I pace myself also, typically only playing Thief from time to time from November through March. There's nothing like a good fan mission when it's too ugly and cold to do anything outside. I would think that I'll never get to all of them either.

I was always nervous that authors would stop posting missions and I would have to keep replaying old missions. Although we do not see the pace of new missions we saw in the past, there are a number of die-hard authors who continue to make great missions.
For me, I am working on my 7th or 8th mission and intend to keep using Dromed (especially with NewDark which revived Dromed in my opinion) for as far in the future as I can see.
Looking forward to another 20 years of new FM’s. Really looking forward to playing all the 20th anniversary missions.
