Well now we know why the Mayans chose 2012 as the world's last year. They're obviously going to have to cancel the next New Year's and it's just going to be 2012 from now on.
Peace out, Dick Clark. You did the world good.

I remember Blandstand. He got that gig for being bland and inoffensive. Most of the music just wasn't evil enough for me as a teen. But yep, another reason for me to get nostalgic. I recall The Jackson Five tweedle deeing on it as a wee kid. I don't know if it's true or just the fog of longing but I feel as if I got the absolute best of days that ever were in all ways possible.
Nah. It's true. The rest of you got the leavings and don't even know it. Poor bastards.

Hey, any show that has a Barry Manilow song about it must be awesome, right?

And on the 14th of April, we lost Jonathan Frid better know as Barnabas Colins, Dark Shadows. Good night Dark Prince.

Is there an echo in here?
Bah. Has everyone forgotten what a dick and agent of evil Dick Clark was? It's like the Michael Jackson thing...hated kid toucher, one day...dead and a saint, the next.
I hope someone spits in his ashes.
... and I preferred Soul Train.
