Yeah I know right. That's how all the gangstas down on the corner hold their bows. Talkin about their doubloons and wenches.

Sat up way past my bedtime tonight playing the last 4 hours of Betrayer.
This is really good in some ways. The sounddesign is great. The artstyle is highly unique. The atmosphere is fantastic. The writing is pretty good! It's a bunch of ghost stories about murder and lies and broken hearts and broken promises and most of all a whole heaping load of betrayal. In it's main themes it reminds me very much of the first FEAR game. Very personal stories that fuel larger nightmares. Despite how obviously repetetive the missiondesign is, it never really feels all that repetetive. This is a very unique game, and a very indie one. I almost wanna call it a flawed masterpiece, but that's not fair because it's not really flawed, it feels like it's exactly what it was envisioned to be.
So, yeah, I'm gonna stop rambling and get some sleep. Play this game, folks! It feels very... TTLG. It's a highly original first person game that defies conventions and does exactly what it set out to do.

Betrayer is part of the latest Groupees bundle. You can get it and a bunch of other games (most notably LBA 2, Eschalon: Book 3, BloodRayne 2, Consortium) for 5$ during the next 4 days: (

Oh, and BloodRayne has a GOG key instead of a Steam key, if you care about that sort of thing.
