Fortune and Glory (T2) - help?

For some reason this seems to be one of the more unpopular fan missions (or maybe I'm one of the few having trouble with it?), although I find it excellent and inventive.

Anyway, I found 300 loot (the gold nugget in the room with the four zombies, the gold nugget in the room across the lava pit, and the gem in the room with the two spiders), and I also found the mask, but I'm still missing 2200 loot to complete the mission objective.

Now the only place I haven't been (as far as I know) is the trap door under the zombie (that doesn't wake up, and is laying down in the T-stance) in the tomb-like room (with a similar room across from it.)

I just can't find a way to open the trap door... I even tried translating the hieroglyphs on the wall to see if it was a clue, but it just came out to nonsense. Any help would be appreciated.

You are on the right track. The room with the trap below the zombie contains a secret switch.
Check this spot carefully: as you enter the room, go the the corner on the far left
and check the ceiling carefully

Btw: you can not get 100% loot in this mission.
685 from the total are to be found at your home and are not frobable.
(12 fine wine à 50, 1 plate à 10, 5 purple goblets `15)
So, 2500 is the maximum loot that you can possibly get.

IIRC there is quite a lot of pixel hunting levers to find and a number of obtuse puzzle solving involved in this mission so you may find checking one of the walkthroughs helpful

To get out of the house check the bookcases
