Forza 3 - Pretending you drive cars you'll probably never own. - by David

I thought Forza 2 was very well made but probably not my thing - the later levels required FAR too many loops on the same damn trap over and over and over...I guess it's a zen thing?
Though I found it highly amusing that one could essentially play the game on autopilot buy hiring drivers.

So hill climbs are back?
Buying right now. Lack of hill climbs destroyed forza 2 for me.
Oh yes, they are back, and they are fantastic.
This is a replay of one of the layouts of the long japanese track. I used my camera as 8m 36 doesn't quite fit into the 30 second limit.

I am not especially proud of the driving displayed, but it was my first go out, and in a ridiculously overpowered car (McLaren F1 GT). In the end it was good for a top 9% finish, and a second run through knocked 15 seconds off the time. I'm going to try it again in something slightly less powerful, geared for acceleration, not speed with the aero optimsed for cornering.

With the graininess of the camera, that looks like actual footage!

ALWAYS tune for max aero (only exception being oval speedway tracks).
This game kicks some serious ass :thumb:

Storefront isn't available to silver members :(
Why do subscriptions never go on sale here?

That was awesome, I missed the Japanese hill climb in Forza 2. Just got a copy so with some practice could be online later today or tomorrow. Gamertag is SystemShocked if anyone's online.
