I've been trying to create a fountain in a courtyard. I am putting a holy font in the middle of the fountain. I already have water brush and flow brush in the fountain before I add the solid terrain brush in the middle of the fountain. I then add the solid terrain brush in the middle of the fountain but when I portalize the water then changes back to the jorge water texture as if there wasn't a flow brush there but there is so I really don't know what the solution to this problem is so could someone please tell me what do in good detail:confused:

The centre of the flow brush is now in solid. You should be able to place two flow brushes side by side.

Why do you need a flow brush for a fountain? Where's it flowing to?

You can use H2O fountain (-3002) if you want a good standard water fountain effect.
There is a custom fountain iirc, that has water in it already, or if not, then there is custom water object, and you can use a ripple effect, and the H2O fountain to boot.

There are two reasons. Flow brushes also set the water texture. Green is the default texture but another one may be preferred. The second reason is that without flow brushes there is no splashing sound when the player walks or swims.

Hmm. In SS2 I just tried converting a couple of solid brushes to water, and the player splashes around in them just fine. Not a single flow brush anywhere in the level.
