Few days ago I watched the local news and it was about an animal shelter where they bring up baby orphans of all sorts to release them later. It started with this baby fox that a woman had found and she didn't quite know what it was (something between a cat and a fox she said). The fox was picked up by the police and this is where these pictures were taken.

The show continued showing a cute young woman feeding an equally cute squirrel baby with a sort of tube, then thoroughly rubbing its tiny tummy (OMG!) and eventually placing the squirrel in a cloth and then in her bra for warmth. Cutesy overload! :D

I don't know, to me it rather proved that we can't be such an awful species after all as long as we care about small furry animals with big eyes and small noses and kill all isopods.
