I decided to download and watch the HD trailer first - it took 30 minutes to download but, hell, it was worth it. Looks like awesome.

Did that have a generic guitar soundtrack as well? I know that the actual game did (by some random guy whom used to be in NiN. I'm pretty sure Trent Reznor worked D3 himself at some stage, I wonder why they ditched his work?).

God, fuck EA for not letting us recreate SS2 on a new engine. This does indeed look like massive-balls out awesome and I'm going to go fucking batshit on this asap. It would have been extra awesome if they could have gotten it out for the 10th anniversary though I guess in the same year is about as good.

Well unlike SS2, this ones being remade onto the HL2 engine. Much alike to someone remaking SS1 onto the SS2 engine.

And back onto topic. As many others have said, Black Mesa looks fucking awesome. Cant wait to play it next year :).
