Jason is right, this shit goes back far earlier than 2001. Try living in a location where pop culture was heavily influenced by Europe at the time and the chart shows/music programming in general was drowning in 10,000 songs which all sounded just like that.

Did they ever fix the bugs in Frozen Synapse that could change the history of your game (so that the previous turns no longer played out the way that they did the first time around, making the entire state of the game suddenly different?)
I gave up after about the third time they said they'd fixed it, when I saw people who had updated were still reporting the problem. That was a while ago, though. The bug didn't happen often, but holy crap it was the most infuriating thing ever when it occurred.

Ah the "dethtoll likes all kinds of shitty pop techno except for dubstep" discussion again.
So that game looks pretty sweet. I'm not a massive fan of Frozen Synapse, but I'd be into some turn-based Cyberball 2072. The gameplay in that looks a bit more Pigskin 621AD though.
