Huh. Okay, I take it back -- that drawing-a-zone business isn't in the manual at all. Maybe that's <em>because</em> it's not properly implemented? All of those flaws you mention are pretty ridiculous.

Reasonableness more than anything. A combination of the Steam sale (in which I should have bought Frozen Synapse, but didn't) and game-trading has left me absoutely no justification for purchasing a new title until I finish some arbitrary number of games (I'm going to say at least five). You can add doctorfrog to your kill lists, folks, I bought the game, have played the thoroughly inadequate tutorial, ignored the campaign, and have lost every game I've played so far.

Thanks for this. Why the game doesn't have adequate help or a manual, or even tooltips, is beyond me. It should at least be as competent in getting me going as Microsoft Word.
edit: just realized there is an in-game help, but that it isn't available when you're playing a game.

I believe the in-game manual is just the readme.txt file in the game directory, so I'd suggest opening that in your favourite text editor, and playing the game windowed, so that it's easy to switch back and forth between them.

Dld and installed FS. Gonna take a spin with the sp. Mind you, I -will- be delayed by DE: Human Revolution coming out on tuesday ;). But after I finish the FS sp I'll gladly join you guys to be buttraped :)

Dude had 2 snipers and a shotgun. I had 2 machinegun and a shotgun. I didn't behave like a gentlemen. :p
Seriously, I was scared about snipers before, but this round taught me that they're extremely counterable.
