Weird, I can't fathom how Riddick could ever be considered relaxing, most of the time that game was go go go and a constant challenge to stay undetected for me. Very stressful - but that point has been beaten to death, so I'll move on.
Sim games are very relaxing for me. I used to play Sim City, Sim Golf or Roller Coaster Tycoon while watching TV, you can just kind of put your feet up on the desk and monitor things most of the time. You can usually slow down the pace of game too in the settings.

The HD port is basically the one reason (ok, that and Forza 2) why I've been debating getting a used 360. I wish Sega would just port it to PC and throw it on Steam.
Both very good reasons.

This may sound weird, but GTA is a game I always chill out to. Specifically, Vice City and especially San Andreas. I just like chillin' out, driving around looking for stuff.
Also, Dreamfall:TLJ, Curse:Eye of Isis, and Syberia on Xbox or PC.

That's not weird at all. That's exactly how I play GTA too.
I can recall so many times I would just get on the highway, get some ambient techno going, and just cruise around to chill out.
Much of it was, when I lived in Texas I had a car (of course) and spent a lot of time just driving fast to chill out. When I got to NYC, no car (of course), and when I got down I tried to think what was missing, and it was fast highway cruising. GTA 3+ filled an important gap, not as good as real driving maybe, but you can go
really fast and be more reckless, so maybe it evens out.
Edit:
A Snood clone?
I should probably feel embarassed that my favorite Snood clone is (
http://www.addictinggames.com/flowerpower.html) FlowerPower, but it's one of the flash games I keep coming back to.

While playing GTAIII I used to love using the drive-by 'feature' to put only a couple of bullets into a bus (or any other heavy vehicle) and watching it panic (especially on the highway) and casually follow as it picks up momentum and plows into anything in its path. The next logical step is to get around three of them going nuts in the same direction.
Passive carnage is luxury.

Sam and Max, seasons one and two anyone? The episodic format even you return to the same places (office, Sybil's, Bosco's) for that sheltering sense familiarity you get from television shows too cheap to build more than a few other sets. The puzzles can be challenging but not hair-pulling, there's usually plenty of good jokes, and Max is delightfully sociopathic.

I think you mean a Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move clone. At least cite the original when you're talking about another game being a clone.
