Absolutely! You can often not make it out too much because of the nature of staring at a computer monitor where distance is exaggerated, but they're there. They get shocked and wince for flashbombs, they look a bit annoyed when their alert is raised, and pissed when they see you, etc. Get into a fight in a bright area, and you'll faces changing for sure.

And yes, TDS uses facial expressions in game quite extensively, you just have to take attention taffers.

I remember seeing this post a looooong time ago, was thinking of posting in it, but as I had a tendency -back then- to be something of a Necromancer, I decided against it, and instead made that last pic my desktop background for some time, lol.
