It's accurate like something that isn't accurate at all. But keep thinking whatever you want if it helps you sleep at night.

Just because there's no one to back me up doesn't mean there is not even a little truth in anything i say.
I have never had a problem with your posts, and more often than not I have enjoyed them. You just went to great length to explain your point of view on these two people, but rest assured, plenty of us see these things the way they are.

That doesn't include me so... are you telling me... I've been living in a dream this whole time

I dunno. I don't have a particular grudge against Inselaffe, but he did come off as a bit of an ass these last few posts.
From my perspective, he comes in, shouts generalizations about...well....it's half a page up, but here:

Anyway i just wonder how long it will be before the influx of "huurrr stop complaining, shut up and you should just eat it up and it's no big deal" kind of capitalism gone mad apologists that we get around here. Anti consumer actions are seen as a positive step.
When does this ever happen around here? When has TTLG At Large ever toed the anti consumer, corporate apologist line? Needless to say, it was dumb, completely baseless, and so incredibly stupid it's hard to just let slide.
Dethtoll, seeing said stupid post, responds in his usual AWGGRARRARARARAR sorta way. Insellafe, wilting wallflower that he is, can't take it, and plays the "why everyone always pick on me for stating my opinion" victim card. Things got real dumb from there.
And of course there are the gang mentality posts in the other thread. All of it is just...so, so pointless.
Goldmoon Dawn on 30/6/2011 at 02:42
And the biggest point I got from his run of posts is that after a while it gets... boring. Boring to those involved I can only assume. As a perpetual spectator, if I dont like what I am reading, I merely move on to something else.

Look, as much as you would like to pretend to take the impartial line, it really doesn't work when you lace it with insults.
That never happened but it wouldn't be as good a put down if you couldn't make out it did. At no point have i "wilted", i have only stood up for myself since the start.
You are a group of friends, it's only natural that you help your friend but the pretending to be impartial and then insulting me while you do it, that's quite a low blow.
The point is, whenever people complain about activation drm or steam or things like that - all of which stop the resale of used games, making them useless, dethtoll et al have generally jumped on these said people and responded violently.
This was at its worst when steam was in its infancy and hl2 had just been out (and the years proceeding). At this time, there were people on the forums who would speak out against steam as it was a bad precedent, paving the way for games that could not be resold or even bought used. It was largely accepted, due to valve's saintly position among the gaming community. The reason people decided to speak out was that if publishers saw it was being accepted then they too would try it, realising it could be done. Over time it has gradually been accepted.
At that time, anyone who would say anything about this would be insulted, mocked and jumped upon by dethtoll and a few others.
I am not talking about lost-soul style posters here at all - it was long before he joined and in a far less "beating the same drum" manner.
Is that enough for me not to be accused of generalising yet? I admit the first post was a bit but it certainly was not groundless.
I don't really want to have to continue this as it's dragging on far too long. I have said things that were over the top and making this go on any long only makes me look more stupid.

'Responded violently?'
At what point did I go to your house and set fire to your crotch and stomp the fire out?
Oh, never?
I mean, I'm not saying I wouldn't consider it, but...
