I need to tell somebody since we're keeping quiet about it until it's finished. My wife and I are at the hospital and she is in labour with our first. The sex is unknown because we wanted to be surprised and I'm really excited. This is a difficult thing and being the husband is pretty nerve wracking because I never know what to do.
She's at 3 cm and things look like they're going forward normally, wish us luck!

Exciting times! You(husbands) do kind of feel a bit superfluous during the labour but I found it quite inspiring to see how my wife focused and dealt with the pain. So yeah, just do whatever she says, even if means staying well out it. :p
