When Twitter first started, I was a different person. I didn't really "get" Twitter, or social media in general. I thought Twitter was pretty dumb! But also, I was pretty dumb! I didn't realize just how ridiculous the world we live in really is. So you know what? Now I think Twitter is great, because it exposes society for what it really is. Rather than the glittering golden booty we thought we brought home, when the lights are on and the corset's off we come to realize that it's grandma. And our sister. And our dad. And our neighbor. And that hot substitute teacher we beat off to in the bathroom that one time and felt so guilty about it we never told anyone. And ourselves. We're all sick, twisted bastards, dead inside and perpetually fucked in the head. And I love every bit of it. It's obviously a fake account by some right-wing nut. He tries to entangle people in extreme emotional responses that replace rational thought. Because that's what right-wing nuts do.
Needless to say that he got you, if you think that's representative of "the world", ie the US for you.

This is interesting because there has been no such change in the general public view. As in 2009 one third of all Americans (33%) believes that “humans and other living things have existed in their present form since the beginning of time.” It suggests that Republicans have become a pool for these people, led by the Tea party movement.
