FYI: The Thief: DS font

The name of the font is "Papyrus", and there is a variant named "Parchment"

The next logical step would be, to put those into Thief: DS, but before I've to figure out the file format of the .cel files, that describe the font prepared in a texture. I wonder why they didn't just include the FreeType library in the engine and render the TFFs directly. That would look much nicer.

If you're talking about the classic fonts from Thief 1 and 2, I already put the classic fonts in Thief DS two years ago.

There is also no need to figure the file formats...it was already done. Do a search on the forum for fontaffer. You can port any font into TDS with it, and I believe the source code is included.

What I meat, was adding them in high resolution. The file coming with the original TDS are quite low quality. I mean, those aliasing bits don't look very beatifull.

Thanks for the tip. I think there should be a TTLG wiki with all those information in one place, so that you don't have to search the forums.
