The video's not loading for me, it just has the spinny loading animation forever.

It works for me but in that short segment he isn't saying anything new. And I guess nobody recorded the show, right?

Hmm, actually that's probably correct. I always say it "Oobeesoft". Also, Eye Dee Software, not Idd Software.

I say oobee (like Scooby)-soft too. Oddly enough I used to say I.D. too until I saw Randy Smith on a T3 preview vid mention "id", and realised it was the whole Freud thing.
Anyhoo... return to your regularly scheduled panicking. And don't worry jtr, there's about 15 seconds of Stéphane in the vid confirming the announcement and saying how the team on T4 and DX3 are all honoured to be working on such important games.

You mean that video that Stephane says "thief 4 will be a lifetime project for all eidos montreal employees...." Also there is a screen with someone modeling a face from thief 4?
edit: and yes it seems they use Maya software.

Speaking of the team that you've got, do you have any of the old Looking Glass Studios staff on board?Well, no, but we've done our homework. We went through this a couple of years ago when we launched the Deus Ex 3 project,
so we're pretty much in constant contact with a couple of people. These people are mainly based in Texas and they have their own lives and their own projects, and for now we've built our team with veterans that have worked on numerous triple-A titles. We have people that have worked on the Rainbow Six series, on Prince of Persia, on the Splinter Cell games - the list is very long and we'll soon release the pedigree of the team, and you'll notice that these guys have a lot of credentials. I
n terms of Looking Glass and Ion Storm, we're trying to be as close as possible to some of the original developers, but nothing's confirmed.
This could mean that EM hoping to fill the empty positions they have with ex LG people?
Also the fact that at lest they keep some contact with the original developers looks better than nothing.

Onto the most important question of the day, then. Is Garrett going to make an appearance?(Laughs) Good try, Tim! Again, story, setting, characters, features -
I have to be as cold as possible to all of those nice, juicy questions, and I can't answer them.
Alright, then. Are you thinking of getting all the original voice actors back?Something that is extremely clear in the forums and in the comments from the fans is to re-use the voice of Garrett, and this is obviously something that we'll consider very seriously.
I am almost certain from this convesation that Garrett is already the main character in T4 and voiced by Stephen Russel.:thumb:

I'm not so sure that you can jump to conclusions on that one. Just because Stephen Russell will be used to voice "Garrett" doesn't necessarily mean he will be the main character, however that does seem to clearly indicate that the setting will take place in our beloved City!
