They probably can't say jack until Stephen is under contract, and it sounds like they're quite a ways from actually recording any voice files. I mean, can you imagine if they announced that Garrett is returning, but they are unable to secure Stephen Russell's services? The community would probably boycott T4.

I'm not sure about going that far, but there will be outrage.

I'm not so sure that you can jump to conclusions on that one. Just because Stephen Russell will be used to voice "Garrett" doesn't necessarily mean he will be the main character, however that does seem to clearly indicate that the setting will take place in our beloved City!
Exactly. Russell voiced a fuck ton of characters. He could just as easily be called back to voice guards and shit.

This could mean that EM hoping to fill the empty positions they have with ex LG people?
Also the fact that at lest they keep some contact with the original developers looks better than nothing.
I think I read the other day that they had had Harvey Smith come by and look at Deus Ex 3 to tell them what he thought so far. I imagine it's more of that type of contact, but that is still certainly better than nothing.

I am almost certain from this convesation that Garrett is already the main character in T4 and voiced by Stephen Russel.:thumb:
Or he might just have a cameo, few lines at best as a distant third character, or a mentor during the tutorial.
