How do I kill those things faster!? I sat there and shot them with 4 anti-armor shotgun shells @ close range! (Sabot shells)
It takes 4 to kill those walking tanks! Am I to understand that a tiny hopping lizard is as powerful as a damned tank!? those little things are devils!

Sabot rounds don't do much to organic tissue. Kinda like Armour-Piercing rounds in SS2. A Greasel will drop like a stone if you put a couple of pistol rounds into its nasty skull.
Save the Sabot for the metal nasties.

A couple of tranq darts work as well - they may keep chasing for a bit, but soon they'll crawl off into a corner to whimper.

One swipe of the Dragon sword/NEB will take them out. Nasty beasties.

Fraid not. The Dragons Tooth may take out the babies in one, but not the big Karkians.

Short of the anti-tank bazooka's, I haven't found anything that takes 'em out in one hit. But the tranq darts worked ok... after about 3 :)

Reading the original post and assumed he was just talking about the tiny green ones -the kind you can run into in ductwork - I don't think those ones are Karkians. Can't remember any other name for them, though.
You're right though, the tooth won't take out a Karkian, they're much sturdier than even the little green lizards.
...but if they aren't Karkians, what are they??? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?[ July 25, 2001: Message edited by: MDA ]

If you've got the shotgun, just switch from sabot to buckshot. Autoshotgun + buckshot + press the fire button for 2 seconds = dead greasel.
It helps to use recoil mods with the autoshotgun, though.

Greasels - that's it. :D
