I checked the faq and read the solution but i'm running on sp2 and havn't found an alternate fix for sp2 users. Has anyone found a solution for sp2? I tried installing the older versions of the codecs but the problem persisted. I aquired the patch, though for sp1, I was pretty desperate; to no avial though, it said I had a newer version and would not install.

Well I definately feel stupid. Sorry about that. I fixed it in the end, all it needed was a reinstall. I don't think this question needs its own thread so i'm going to ask here. Whenever I eat food I don't seem to recover any health, i'm on the second mission (save cuttie) and i'm on to my last two bars of health and i've got an officer's quarters to raid. Any ideas? Is my game bugged?

Food doesn't always increase health, eating a dozen apples is likely to but 1 apple may not make any difference.
