awesome show. i love those little skits with the stealth player and the buggy AI
I hope they find a sponsor and in a few shows they are gonna be ace infront of the camera.

Well that certainly looks... home made?
mothra on 17/12/2008 at 18:44
well I think they hope to get sponsors for .... better prices ?

I was just coming here to post this. Unlike mothra, though, I'm not as impressed. I really am a big fan of Yahtzee's Zero Punctuation, but this thing struck me as rather... um, who was it around here that was asking for that random bloke picture Croshaw uses to describe something as "bland, average, run-of-the-mill"? It could grow into something quite alright, but it needs work, both on presentation and on content.
Oh, and the first thing to do is to trade that couch for three chairs - works for having a bunch of associated guests, but not for three co-hots who occasionally do talk to one another.

to quote the show itself: i can see the potential
ps: i think it will stay light on "studio tours" since they don't hold back with negative criticism

Is it my imagination or is Yahtzee trying to channel John Cleese in that opening segment?
And who're the other 2 berks? Some random geeks on a bad hair day abducted off some down-under sidewalk, or do they have any card-carrying game journo cred?

Just watched the trailer. Yatzee was basically the only thing of redeeming quality about it, but overall I had no problem sitting through the whole thing. Its possible it could go places and I like zero punctuation so for his sake I hope it does.

This is the best gaming show I've ever seen.
Which is not saying much seeing as pretty much every other gaming show I've seen has followed the formula of having attractive young girls & guys who clearly don't play videogames reviewing games as if they were reading from the features-list at the back of the box. These guys, on the other hand, are bonafide ugly nerds! Ugly nerds who know what the hell they're talking about at that. It's still just the pilot episode and the guys seem a bit shaky and nervous but the way they keep bickering with eachother is very funny. I think this has the potential to be the Top Gear of gaming shows. :)

You clearly haven't seen Consolevania then.
