I see it. My bet is that the maker hasn't played Thief and didn't realize that the you haven't played TDS yet but you're worried about spoilers? isn't actually the titular "thief" character.

I haven't played the third. I tried the second back in 2002 and it didn't do anything for me. Quite tough but not enough fun.
I just found a video of SoF 3 and it reminds me of the original a lot more. I'll pick it up if I see it going cheap. :D

Oh definitely the PC version. The Minimalist Mod does a lot to improve some of the more jarring consolitis aspects of the game, and anyway the XBox version is broken.

Gee, I dunno, going to school full time, maybe. Kind of leaves you with no money/time to spend on games.
Also, my computer isn't completely up to snuff either; the game tends to lag (I tried the tutorial some time ago), which deters me from playing a game highly dependent on timing.

Dude I am as much of a brokeass-nigguh student as you and I've played the game at least half a dozen times. But I'll grant you the lagging thing- it's a bit chuggy on mine, too, and I have an 8800GT.

Yikes; that's not encouraging. I don't think I tried it at the lowest settings yet, though, so that'll be what I do when I get around to it again.
