Games that clicked for you, but not anybody else. - by Volitions Advocate

Come on guys. DXIW, TDS, Doom 3? Those were all critically acclaimed games that most gamers liked. It's only here on TTLG they're not so fondly thought of.
I liked:
DRIV3R
Stolen
Enter the Matrix
El Matador
All of them flawed in obvious ways but with occasional moments of brilliance that make up for it.

Enclave, I guess. and the PS2 version of Spiderman 2. The game itself was shit, but swinging around Manhattan was awesome.

Me too:D.
In fact now that I've played some of the original DX, I can definately say that DX2 was more interesting and fun for me.
DX is ok(not terrible) but it has some gameplay issues that make the game a little frustrating like ammo running out too quickly with pickups being quite rare. Even on easy I find myself running out of ammo and be forced to sneak the rest of it, this shouldn't happen.
I am not saying it's better then Deus EX, that's just criminal ;)
But not a bad game at all, I can understand the disapointment but not the outright hate.

Sonic Unleashed (Wii version) clicked enough for me to start a new save, and completing it, after 100% completing my first.
Impossible Creatures is another game I had tons of fun with, but have rarely seen mentioned elsewhere.

Elder Scrolls 'Redguard', Revenant, Sin and Nox.

Invisible War makes me froth even more than Halo. Halo is just your standard cheapo uninteresting post-Half-Life FPS. Invisible War is proof against the existence of a just and loving God.
I guess I could say I liked Eradicator back in the day 'cuz I was the only person who played it.

Enter the Matrix
Ah, that reminds me! I love
Matrix: Path of Neo.

Fuck Path of Neo. But I liked Enter the Matrix. Felt like a low-budget Max Payne.

I really enjoyed Project: Snowblind. Maybe it was because I'd missed all of the silly comparisons to Deus Ex, so I didn't have any expectations going into it.

I'll rack up another point for DX:IW, and agree with Jason on Scapland, too.
Also, Perimeter ... although I'm not sure whether people actually disliked it or whether it just failed to make any sort of splash.
Far Cry 2 sounds like a game I'd enjoy if I got the chance to play it, but who knows ...
