Don't worry dethtoll, in my opinion, MGS4 is a bit shit really, but then I'm not a fan of the series.
It just feels very disjointed, with little to no depth of game-play, and hardly any of that game-play to start with thanks to the gratuitous amount of over-indulgent cutscenes.

I just read that Kojima's going to be hands-off for that, though. Apparently he's going to busy himself with MGS: Peace Walker on the PSP. I guess that means less self-indulgent cutscenes and codec convos, then.
I do hope he pops in every now and then to oversee the gameplay for this one, at least. Perhaps it could turn out as pure and enthralling as the original MGS.

Speaking of being gay, I think each of my playthroughs of Oblivion lasted about 200-250 hours and I enjoyed every minute. Granted, that's another "praised by everyone/hated by TTLG" game.
