Any Final Fantasy past IX.
I dunno, I liked 12. No more random battles! And the Sandsea was awesome.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, there is too much grinding. I like to play these games at a comfortable pace, and I ended up at level 15 fighting level 22 monsters when I decided "damn you game, I am not leveling that much".
Recently, I can add Cubivore to this list. I just do not get that game. No matter what mutation I end up as, I do like 1-3 damage to the boss monster while running and healing every two hits (at like 30 damage a pop). Ultimately the game doesn't really feel all that fun, so I may sell it.

Damn, I forgot about Cubivore. I had it years ago when I still had a GameCube. Very strange game, that one.

I usually use threads like this to complain about Total War but I've just remembered something else; Phantom Hourlass. Going back to that timed dungeon over and over again felt like a chore.

Halo.
RTS Games (except for Warhammer 40k from Relic - not the new one which sucked ass and that WW2 game from Relic that i cant remember the name of right now)
Half-Life 2 Ep.2. I just find it so boring.. It's too bad the HL games are becoming worse and worse. HL1 was an incredible game, HL2 was still ok or even guite good, Ep.1 Was "ok", Ep2 "meh..."
The Witcher. Didn't care much for the main char, and i didnt like the combat and the really restricted feel of the levels and movements of your character, could've been a great game.
Any jRPG. They disgust me, everything from the stupid character designs (the mobs you fight especially), the linearity, the random encounters, their stupid combat systems that are neither realtime or turnbased but some retarded mix that just doesnt work for me. They never evolve either.
Gears of War. Just terrible in every possible way, super linear with very little control over your character (cant even jump), retarded story, retarded characters. A huge step back for the FPS genre as a whole. This game is EVIL, it will only make the genre suck even more..
Most adventure games. These were ok games on the C64 and Amiga because you didn't know any better.. Nowadays I find little enjoyment in playing something that is 100% linear and that has 0 alternate solutions to problems. If i want that i read books and get a much better and less frustrating experience.

I will grant you that. The Ancient Dragon was impossible for me to get past even after grinding for like 3 levels, so I quit in disgust.

One more game I thought of: Metal Gear Solid: Portable OPS. I loved every Metal Gear game prior, but I just could not get into the Portable OPS mechanics. Switching between four characters and dragging bodies around all the time to recruit more characters just wasn't my kinda thing.

PC
-The sims: nuff said.. Just not my cup of tea
-Any sports game other then extreme sport games like SSX
-Every realistic race games. Flatout/trackmania/burnout are examples of good games but dtm/nfs/collin mcrae sucked
-rogue trooper: bought for not much money but the game was childish, boring and the characters had lame names: gunnar for the gun, helm for the helmet..
-republic the revolution: to complicated
-gothic 3: it just got boring after a while. I did alot of sidequests for the middle green part but i didn't even got to the desert or the ice part :/
I did play it for a long time though
-midtown madnes 1: i loved the second game when i was a kid so i bought the first one in the store but the grafics/gameplay just didn't cut it for me back then
-perimeter: nice concept on changing the units and the perimeter itself, but the game was so damn hard and the story failed
-titan quest: just so repetitive after a while..
-Black & white 1: i was reading stuff about the 2nd game once when it still wasn't released and i liked the concept of being a god and having to take care of a creature but the game was kinda boring.. I didn't even finished the training part
-c&c 3: awesome fmv's with good actors but i didn't even finish the gdi side
-imperial glory: liked the demo and the total war series but somehow the final game sucked
-baldur's gate 1: everyone advised me to play it for a couple of houres and i'd be hooked but after playing awesome rpg's made by bioware/bethesde I just couldn't play any further after 2 hours. + it was hard & your companions could die.. ( :weird: )
-doom 3: tried it out +- 1 year ago but when the monsters came it began to suck. Maybe if i played it at the release i would've liked it but then again
the story sucked to and the main character is nameless/voices ( i hate that..)
-Project snowblind: loved the demo when it was released. I picked up the game a few years later at a discount and a friend advised me to but i didn't liked it and it was uninstalled after the first 2 levels
-Bet on soldier: i loved the concept of the game, the story wasn't that bad, the bossbattles and weapons were awesome and i liked the demo but it began to suck after a while and the bossbattles had a serious glitch (before each bossbattle you could freely choose your position so i placed myself right in front of them with my knife and when the timer stops, i constantly did some headshots and bam instant kill's and lots of money. If you've done the normal way like crouching/strafing/nading it would've took way more time so less money and you'd lose alot of health)
-codename 47: hitman's always been a favorite of mine (especially 2 & 4) but the first game was a dissapointment after finishing the 2nd game. I tried playing it a couple of times but it didn't worked unfortunatly
-
Ps2
-moh: rising sun: a game that i got for free from a friend but i don't like shooters on ps2. Pc > consoles in that part imo
That's all i can think of right now
