Been there. Games are the best for those times.

Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life 1 and Fallout 1. Those 4 games -- but especially the latter 3 -- saw me through some very, very bad times as a teenager.
Transformed you into a horrible troll on this forum. Good times for us all indeed.

Is that an appropriate response to someone listing their favourite games?

Half-Life 1 is important to me as well. In the years after it was released I was suffering from depression. I found few things enjoyable but I still liked to play games. On weekend I slept during most of the day and spent my nights playing HL1 FMs. There was a time where I played every decent FM that came out, which was quite a lot. There was this review site for Half-Life 1 FMs called Hangar 16 I believe, and for a couple of years I played every FM that got a decent review there. Helped me through a tough period.

I'd probably be dead if it weren't for Fallout 1 and Duke 3D and Half-Life 1. That's not hyperbole. 2000 was one of the worst years of my life and I was not in a good place.
I remember Hangar 16!

Well, I'm serious - he didn't even mention Thief/System Shock.

Oh, gee, maybe because I didn't have the money to buy them or the computer to run them at the time? Let alone the fact that I'd barely even heard of them.
I wasn't going to say anything because I already reported your last post (not that it ever does much good) but go fuck yourself with a rake okay?

I'm searching in my heart to find any sense empathy but failing do so. Opening your heart after being a right out c*nt for all these years, I've got no comments to that.
Anyways, I'd say Dungeon Keeper among others, few Ultima titles, Shock, Thief, Freelancer etc etc.

You know what? I had some witty reply, but fuck this, I'm done. I don't need your shit, I don't need anyone's shit, I'm tired of being blamed for ruining something that was ruined long before me by the Commchat Kru and the Autism Ward running roughshod over it, I'm tired of people crawling up my ass for being hostile at precisely the moment when I'm not being hostile, I'm tired of being the forum whipping boy, I'm tired of getting a fucking ban when I ask someone to stop harassing me, I'm tired of having been here for years and years yet I'm just not enough of a smug self-absorbed loser to be in the "kru" half of which doesn't even post here anymore but they all get preferential treatment, I'm tired of all this idiotic fucking high school bullshit I thought I left behind like 13 fucking years ago.
I'm going to ask Al to just delete my account once and for all. I'm too old for this shit.
