SoF wasn't a bad game at all. Except the ending.

SoF 1 & 2 are a couple of my all-time faves. I have SoF on PC, DreamCast, and PS2, and SoF on PC and XBOX.

I, too, totally loved SoF. When I discovered the console command for slowing down the game, I binded that to a key and ... well, the ability to blast people's heads/limbs off in slo-mo just earned it a few more playthroughs.

I felt the same way when I discovered the GOUL activation console command in Jedi Outcast. It turned a so-so game into a very enjoyable one. :ebil:

SoF won me over when it let me nail that guy taking a piss in the crotch, and he actually dropped to the ground and rolled in pain.
It kind of scares me, when I think about it, of how many people got to that part and did the exact same thing.

You mean the one which allowed you to cut enemies into half and such? That made it a totally new game...:ebil:

It was even more scary that the game tracked crotch shots. At the end of a level you got a headshots, throat shots and "nether region" shots statistic...

Ninja Gaiden 2.
Haha, I was just thinking that at least someone must have played the Ninja Gaiden games. :D Allthough the second made me shout satanic words most of the time, the first one just gave me such an unspeakable diseased feeling that I just had to quit it while trying for the 100th time to get past the end boss (one of them actually, the second one with the flying bitch wizard demon with his damn fireballs that follow you even if you move the character off the bloody screen).

I can't even hate Ultima 9. What's wrong with me?
Because that game has charm. I actually prefer this game over the earlier titles.
Games i learned to despise, must be Dark age of Camelot. I just...

Ew? I'm an Ultima nut but even I have to admit that IX was pretty soulless.

I enjoyed Ultima IX because it was the first time I saw Britannia from a different perspective than the top-down one. It did make it more visceral.
Of course, it didn't take long for me to realise that this new, shiny 3D Britannia was much, much smaller than the one I was used to...
(The fan-made dialogue patch did improve the story and remove inconsistencies. It was still not a great game, mind you.)
