SoF wasn't a bad game at all.
Yes, it was.

No it wasn't. Except the final boss. Which was BS.

Yes, it was.
SoF 2 had some of the most insanely awesome multi-player ever.

Soldier of Fortune is not a bad game, but in my humble opinion it was boring as hell. Playing through it felt like work. The only thing it had going for it was blowing off limbs and that was only fun for the first 30 minutes. I was glad when it was over. But that's just my opinion. Oh and also, worst video game music ever.

Diablo and BioShock, for similar reasons. In both cases I really thought I would love them, too.

Hahaha, the argumentative power of this board is awesome:
"SoF was a bad game."
"No it wasn't"
"Yes it was"
"No, it was certainly not"

Also remember, on these forums, people are never wrong :cheeky: Do not question them, hehe especially some people

You didn;t stir up shit. You were hardly the 1st on these forums to bash the game, let alone this very thread.

Another Diablo II and Bioshock voter.
Diablo II: Still many things I like about it (crafting items and what-not), but at the current patch level it's frustrating when you're poor, and boring once you're not. I started playing it again with the latest ladder reset, but I've more or less given it up. More of the same. Can't really take it anymore.
Bioshock: I wanted to like this game so much that I convinced myself that I did, for a while. I couldn't even make it all the way through a single replay.
And now for the opposite end of the spectrum: Deus Ex. Just completed another playthrough - still love it. Stuff like Bioshock just makes you realize how good it really was.

Bioshock. I kept trying to tell myself that it wasn't that bad, but the more I thought about it, the more I kept having to make up justifications for it, until I realized that I just thought it sucked.
NHL Eastside Manager. I lost about 2 months of my life to this game, and afterwards realized I didn't even have any fun.
Black & White. I didn't get very far into it, but I tried starting it about 5 or 6 different times and was always feeling like it was just about to get good, until finally realizing it just wasn't going to happen.
Oblivion. I recently tried a replay, and after installing a bunch of recommended mods that admittedly DID make it a lot better in every technical aspect, I still came to the same realization I had on my first play through: it's boring. Really boring.
