Whilst I think its one of those games that works best in board game form, I think Monopoly will live on. It's just one of those timeless games.
I'm not quite sure how people will get around steam not being around if that is the case by 25 years time. Maybe someone will come up with some sort of emulation system? not sure.
Seconded on Civilization. Oh and Minesweeper will live on too.

Sure people still play those, but it depends on what you mean by "original versions". What people are playing these days are mostly remakes for Facebook/iPhone. Identical remakes, so I guess close enough.
Frozen Synapse is still gonna be around if I have something to say about it!
(unless a sequel comes out and is so much better as to make the original obsolete)

25 years gee - well I reckon for originals, then Tetris for sure.
Maybe Fallout and Morrowind? Tamriel Rebuilt is close to finishing the whole of the mainland, so that will provide plenty of fodder. The graphics are amaaazoing thanks to the modding community. Who knows
Tetris for sure tho

People'll still be reinstalling Deus Ex come 2036.
Come to think of it, DXHR too.

By original version I just meant the game itself. Identical or slightly altered version remakes count since its essentially the same game. For example when I listed Tetris I was thinking of all the various ports and versions that are available for practically every electronic gaming platform there is of that game.
