My first playthrough was with a Malkavian (of course) - any suggestions for my second one?
Sure. Also, there's another game I didn't expect to like but ended up loving, and that's Imperial Glory. Initially, I let all the self-important turds put me off it because it--gasp!--didn't model morale. But once I found the game in a bargain bin and played it, I loved it!

Edit: All this talk of
Bloodlines makes me think I should get the game out and play it (with the inofficial patches)... My first playthrough was with a Malkavian (of course) - any suggestions for my second one?
I'm going through it at this very moment with a Tremere. I would suspect that once I get downtown it will liven up a bit for this character.

I've been meaning to play Bloodlines forever as a Nosferatu. I'm guessing it's a real pain in the ass, which is why I haven't gotten around to it.

Since I like social interaction best in RPGs, I'm thinking that playing a Nosferatu might not be the best thing for me - aren't they pretty much shunned and feared?

Well, if it's all about social interaction, the obvious choice (besides Malkavian, which is always the obvious choice :D ) would be Toreador, I'd think.
On a side note, I wish someone would turn Wraith into a CRPG. That was always my favorite Whitewolf setting.

Cool, thanks. I think I'll give the Toreador a spin. Even if they probably don't get to talk to stop signs... :D

Praise God. I was going to leave work early to help you get that resolved, as I was finding it difficult to sleep at night for all the worrying. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go discuss some of my favorite Starcraft strategies in the Best Games of 2008 thread.

Thief for one thing (more specifically Deadly Shadows): I only bought it because it was on sale and sounded mildly interesting.
Mafia: just coming off of GTA: Vice City, I played this for hours upon hours.
Total Overdose: looked like a crappy GTA knock off (which it is), but turned out to be a ton of fun.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Shadow of Chernoybl. Knew it was gunna be good, amazed at how good it was. Sure it had it's bugs, but once you got past them the game was amazing. Still playing it today, even (on my 10th runthrough )
