Personally I don't have the cash to spew for console games since I already "waste" it on PC games. Likewise I don't really sit in front of a TV all that often since I don't really have the time. Mainly, of course, it still just goes back to the money issue.
That's where friends come in and some of them are all up to date with the latest stuff that comes on consoles, letting me play some stuff when I'm really curious to see if it's as good or as bad as people say.
Not really a stubborn hater, but I am of the opinion that a lot more crap comes out on consoles. But that's probably due the fact that a whole lot more stuff, in general, comes out on consoles.

I'm not a hater either (except when PC games suffer because of consoles), but many of the games I gravitate towards are FPSes and RPGs, and mouse-and-keyboard feels so much more natural to me than a controller for those.

I'd get a console only for a few XBLA games/remakes, Wii social games and a handful of PS3 exclusives and that certainly is no reason to buy all three. Too little desirable content to justify a sale. Same reason I don't have a TV.

People can't specify if they have the wii & 360, or PS3 & wii, or 360 and PS3! Someone make a new poll, this one is ruined!
I have nothing against consoles, I'm happy to play on other peoples I just don't own any of the current-gen ones myself. I'd rather play games on PC, and the relatively small number of platform-exclusive games on any one console is not enough for me to warrant spending hard-borrowed cash on them. I've got an xbox 360 controller for racing games and the like, and the wire is long enough for me to be able to play games on it in bed, so I figure I get almost all of the advantages of console gaming through that.

Sure, you don't specifi -which- two, out of the three, consoles you have, but it's not relevant to the poll. I'm sure you were just joshing about, buuut, just in case, there's my answer :D

I'm one of those freaks that don't watch TV. If I had one I'd probably only use it for games and movies.

well I certainly had no problems sitting in a comfy chair playing for example AvP2 PC on a 115 inch "screen" (projector) :D

I love having a Wii and PC. Covers all the games I could want to play, and my wife even gets excited to play multi-player Wii games! It's great! Nothing on TV? Let's play Wii bowling or some shit! We crack up and have a lot more fun than sitting stone-faced @ the latest ep. of Weeds. Wii and PC for the motherfucking win.
