About three years ago for a high school project I wrote an epic poem detailing the events of Thief: The Dark Project from the perspective of a Keeper Scribe writing his accounts for the Library Annals.
We were studying Beowulf at the time. In contrast with that epic poem, I decided to attempt a poem of my own for my senior project, but I didn't want to necessarily tackle an epic hero. Rather, I wanted to explore something very different, an epic
anti-hero. And I could think of no better anti-hero than the master thief, Garrett, himself. I at first attempted the whole thing in iambic pentameter, but settled on just pentameter as it got way too difficult to put everything in a correct meter. Its not too long, but its not short either--it clocks in at about twelve pages typed.
There were a few plot deviations made here and there, but I hope they aren't too blasphemous or distracting to fans of the series. I spent a lot of time on this, and I'm really proud to share it with all of you. I hope you enjoy it.
Here it is, the complete work: (

Wow, good job! - about how long did it take you to do? and what was your mark on this project (if you don't mind telling)?

Wow I didn't get a chance to read the whole thing, but WOW! Is there any easy way to print the whole thing out?

Since I can't register to FanFiction.net ATM, I'll just say it here:
Well done.
You can always do Thief II: The Metal Age in iambic pentameter instead. That meter rocks.
