question is, is the average gamespot user the same gamefaqs retard that in doubt would rather vote "strider hiryu" than "cate archer" because it sounds more japanese ?
I think I have my answer

lol @
Oh yeah I forgot about that time when Frogger saved the world from a god, then a crazy cult leader who wanted to turn the world into rust! Pffft.

@mudi
Yeah, the comments on there range from laughable to rage-worthy.

a thief isn't a hero....so I guess the frog who saves princesses is the better hero :]
Quote:
I never played Thief so I don't know what kind of person Garrett is.
Snake in Metal Gear series is better than this guy.
Quote:
I don't know who Garrett is, but in I think he can cut Frogger in half with that nife.
Quote:
Jeez these characters shouldn't even be on the vote at all. Talk about obscure. I guess I'll pick Frogger because I never played Thief.
Quote:
Frogger was one of the lamest and most boring games ever invented. thank god someone came up with a game where you hide in the shadows and ****ing KILL PEOPLE. Though.. wtf kind of name is Garret for an assassin?
Quote:
Although I like Thief series, Frogger is a real hero and
more charismatic. + hundreds of comments about how Frogs are awesome ^_^ so kawaii~
Both sides seem like they're mostly consisting of 12 year olds and kids with ADHD. Goddamn. Only a handful of people on the Garrett's side back up their reasons with more than "that's so kewl".

Also, Bub & Bob are trouncing Master Chief... I think that says about all that needs to be said about the voters.
crazy_Clown on 5/9/2009 at 20:45
Why to even bother to follow this vote since it's clear that Mario wins.

Heh, on a somewhat bright note, at least Garrett isn't facing off Pacman...

For the purposes of...well...anything Gamespot = Gamefaqs. I've seen, and talked to, what I would consider the "average" Gamespot follower, and despite not being 12 (he was 16), he was the same: over-opinionated, based everything on looks, insistent ad nauseam, and dumber than a sack of hammers. The fact that he looks like an emo and is a literal basement-dweller doesn't help, either.
