Let's see. Various lockpicks, files, etc.
The dagger looking thing is probably a spike. The coil may be waxed string or a coil of wire. There's probably a dropper filled with oil somewhere in there, too. I'm surprised he had to go to the casting room to get the wax for the key in EAVESDROPPING.
In the pouch could be various small objects, of course.

Thanks!
I was wondering if the spike was maybe used to wedge in between a door and doorframe to expose the latch, or something.

Definitely possible. Also, it could be used to jam a door to prevent pursuit.
If you note, in the second picture you also see a few skeleton keys, or key-forms that may be ground into functional keys. Also note that the three primary lockpicks shown in the 'briefing' screencap for Assassins are the familiar triangle and square lockpick, as well as a tensor bar to slide in with it.

Very nice, Sola'! Perfect. Thanks again!
Thank you, too, clearing! The mention of a chokewire makes me wonder if the wire in both pix above is meant to be something like that, although it seems an odd addition to a lockpicking kit. By the way, is that site run by any taffer we know?

Nowadays we use a credit card, don't we? But I've never managed to make it work. :D
I can't see the pics either - apart from the thief three. Might try IE instead. Nope that doesn't show them either.

Is it weird that I just did the same thing? And if memory serves, the thieves' tools he shows are actually drawn from Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue.
