Not many guards, or even noble ladies, can afford Garrett's favourite brand of designer stilettos. ;)

I've figured it out! I know why everyone knows Garret's footstep is automatically that of a thief.
Everyone in the thief universe has an installed IFF(Indentify Friend or Foe). It tells the guards his footsteps belong to a foe, rather then a friend. Somehow he manages to switch his to "Friend" in undercover, but it only lasts for a brief amount of time.

*isn't sure what that means*
It is real technology. First World Airforces(read: NATO) use it for certain types of missles and such.

Sorry for the vague reply. If you hover your mouse cursor over the smilies you will get a description of what they mean (not to teach anyone here how to suck eggs or nothing!).
You'll find that they represent the last two words of that sentence quite succunctly.
Anyway, nevermind. The association between Garrett's footsteps and warplanes is somewhat beyond me, but that's neither here nor there so I guess I'll just shut up! (unless anyone else was equally as confused...am I right?)

Garret's digestive system is truly phenomenal. He can chow down several deer legs in a second (including the bone!) without having any trouble with it going down. He never seems to get full or have indigestion (if he did I'm sure you would hear some sounds associated with that). Same for the drinks. Garret never has to go to the toilet no matter how much he drinks and eats and you take several hours finishing the mission after that. Maybe his stomach is in fact a total matter-to-energy converter that leaves no waste materials?

Well, simply, IFF gives a quick ID as to which planes are on your side, and which aren't. The ones on your side emit a signal compatable with your equipment, and if using IFF missles, will tell the missle which planes NOT to target(on the downside, if the transmitter on one of your planes is broken, any IFF missles you fire would consider that plane as an enemy). It would be like looking at random people on the street and seeing "Friend" or "Foe" on them.
If everyone in the thief world has an IFF transmitter, it would explain how the guards can instantly tell Garret's a thief and not a servant/guest. He's not sending out the "Guard/Servent/Guest" signal.
I know I'm reaching.

Personal repulsion - No matter what Garret runs into at full speed he always stops before actually bumping into anything. Also interacts with other beings so that no matter how long Garret falls he'll suffer no harm if he lands on someone's head and slides right off. The person underneath doesn't even notice anything unless Garret lands in front of him/her.

Like Feather to a Rope
Garrett can can jump several feet off (or even right through) a rope, without moving the rope at all. He can also fall great distances onto a rope, and instantly get a grip on it. If the rope is swinging about however, Garrett will be flung off it faster than a cannonball.
On the other hand, as soon as he leaves the rope (or the rope leaves him), he will instantly regain his mass and arc straight down to mother earth.

Garret has no Bank Account.
I find this *beyond* strange. :weird:
Also, Garrets world has no mode of transportation...there are roads...but no modes of transportation...yet they have many forms of energy available to them.
:weird:
And finally, Garret has never contacted Leptospirosis considering the amount of time he spends in sewers.
