His limited vocabulary - the man doesn't have much variety. He gets more verbose in the cutscenes, but he says the same things over and over again in play mode.

Don't forget Garrett'S inability to put anything silently and carefully. Everything must fall at least 1 feet.

Wow, nobody's mentioned Garrett's amazing untripable cloak!
Despite hurling himself down corridors using the Heels of Perpetual Motion, swinging from ropes to land on his feet, leaping from great heights to land on flimsy and precarious landings, and edging his way around thin ledges overlooking vast chasms, Garrett never, ever falls over his extremely long and trailing cloak!(s seen in the Theif Intro scene.
Furthermore, he never , ever gets his cloak trapped in a door as he swishes past it, snagged on a jagged rock while clambering about Bonehoard, or caught in a tree while escaping from Constantine's mansion!
Oh yes- and there's also Garrett's incredible ability to let loose a heavier, coal-filled and smouldering fire arrow for hundreds of feet without the arrow ever dipping, and yet he fails to propel a lighter, metal headed broadhead arrow more than about 50 feet!
Lastly- Garrett has the unbelievable ability to shrink to the size of a small frogbeast when climbing rope arrows! Never once does a rope arrow come out of its place, no matter how flimsily it has been attached, so Garrett must be able to shrink himself to a manageable size and weight to continue up the rope arrow!

Lets not forget Garrett's other now-discareded items:
Amulet of King of the Hill: In Thief 1/Gold, Garrett was able to convince his enemies to not climb onto chairs, tables, or ledges to follow him.
Flubberwear: In the Thief 2 demo (Life of the Party), Garrett seemed to wear a bodysuit with rather elastic properties. Apparantly, flubber and climbable things don't mix (or, if you prefer, mix a bit too well for one's health).
And it seems that Garrett is made entirly of rubber. Note his mantling technique: he reaches, pulls up, and then slaps down his feet. Of course, he reaches up with his arms, pulls himself up, and shrinks his legs. When up, he slaps them down and stands.
And apparantly he is on some kind of mind-influencing drug that keeps him calm. Point in case: The Lost City from Thief 1/Gold. Leaping from a window into a pool of lava four-five stories below, he stares death in the face and calmly remarks "That's a long way down."
Wait...scratch the rubber theory. Garrett is, in fact, made out of meat. Note that as guards pass, they'll sniff around. Sometimes they'll comment on a smell of old meat. And what other than old meat can awaken a sound sleeper without making even a whisper of noise?
Oh, and about legs.... Garrett has legs, but he only wears them for cutscenes. The footsteps are really the sound caused by his gravatonic lift's sonar system used to regulate height, and vary by speed and surface. They don't autocorrect, however, which explains why Garrett can set a crate down where his legs would be then "jump" on top. Also explains lack of legs/feet during gameplay. Probably explains why he never trips or falls over. Heck, even when he dies he doesn't topple!
And for all the fire arrow notes.... They're obviously propelled rockets...well, fireworks, anyway (not worth crap against most alert enemies). Try "Little Big Land" in The Sword in T1/G. With practice, you can get a fire arrow to travel in a continuous loop.

Above all else, I think Garrett's most supernatural power is his ability to lure us all from our real world into his imaginary world, over and over and over again. . .
"Hey, what's going on over there?"

* Garrett's amazing ONE TASTE TONGUE(c). Everything that he eats, even if it's deer leg, or carrots, tastes like apples.

OH yea, and I almost forgot, for THief1, his intelligent ability to climb ladders and ropes knowing that the enemies can't climb but instead merely walk around in the area below the ladder thinking that the rope is you.

I always thought the most impressive examples of Garrett's Backpack of Carrying were the several large carpets and the room's worth of enormous wall-hung crystals that he nabbed from the Lost City.

You all have forgotten his ultimate weapon, the Ultimate Blackjack of Unconsciousness! This weapon will always make any guard pass out - even if they are wearing helmets!
I agree with the teory that Garrett has jedi training. One more evidence: the sword Garrett has with him is actually an lightsaber! How else he can hide his long sword then just simply shutting it down?

Yes, Garrett is made of rubber. Why else would he snap away from a door, when leaning against it, at incredible speeds.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total oblivion. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
