Hey, some missions just aren't ghostable. Too bad, though... except for that, I ghosted the rest of the mission!
I may give this a rest until after Saints and Thieves, or whatever it's called, then come back with fresh eyes. I suspect it's not ghostable, however... too much light in that section, and they're facing opposite directions -- so they have the whole 360° covered.
If only you didn't require 100% loot on expert (hard) to finish!

Yay, Mechanists :ebil:!
Nice little beginner mission. I did like the
Crypt's
texture scheme, it was so... modern! As it should be, right? ;)
I was shy on loot to finish, and needed to check in here for a hint
on the where-abouts of that rascally key. For the loot I was missing the two gold plates in the sink. I was too lazy to lean over or jump on the counter to check :p
There will be a Version 2. I will attempt to make it ghostable and sort out the objective room confusion. Don't expect it too soon though as I have University stuff to sort out first. :)
Clockwork Mifune, the
Crypt was one of my favourites aspects of the mission also. I came to the conclusion that the whole facility was newly built and even the Crypt should show that.
FYI for people who don't go to Thiefmissions: Versions 2 & 3 have been released. But I've only just finished the original.
V1 Review
Pros
-Mech Mission
-Better Utilized Space
-The "Snack-Size"
-Great Texture Choices
-Nice Ambient Sounds
-Difficulty
Cons
-Texture was a bit overused
-The barracks and vicinity had no ambient sound, which broke immersion.
-Weird sound issue in dining room
-Difficulty (it's a Procon! >_<)
-The annoying objecive "ding!" whenever you arrive in the main hall.
-Semi-barrier in doorway leading to the watcher hallway (I was trying to lean!!)
Rating: 6.5/10
Off to V2.... :ebil:

I have the very same question.
-Space is better utilized, unlike The Mechanist Cathedral
Did you pay attention to what P Forth said beforehand about that mission?
From Readme: (sic)
I was going to be a much larger mission, but due to real life stuff and other DromEd work
it would never have got finished the way I intended it, so, better to release it as a
small mission than not to release it at all,I thought. Quote Posted by Garret_729

Putting ambients into every single room doesn't sound that appealing to me for some reason.
Last Gleaming of Rising Sun had very few ambients and I thought the immersion worked just fine for me.

I just like to say, the higher the version the less broken it is. :p

It seems that Bronze Griffin and I were thinking on the same wavelength when we made our missions. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Fun mission, thank you! Without the help here I'd never have found the chapel key although I thought that it must be somewhere in this room, very clever hidden.

I finally finished this little mission a few days ago, and wanted to say "Thank you" to the author. The only problem I had was finding the coins in the chapel, everything else was not too difficult.
Nice small mission, perhaps not fully loaded with eye-candy, but stilly nice to play.
